UPDATE 7/1: Fairmont Park residents raised over $2,400 to support the family of Officer Jones.  They say 100 percent of the donations will go to his family.

NORFOLK -- Several fundraisers have been organized to honor fallen Norfolk Police Officer Brian Jones.

The 34-year-old Norfolk police officer, husband and father of three was killed in the line of duty on May 30.

June 27
A spaghetti dinner took place at Menchville Baptist Church in Newport News from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m on Friday night.

June 28
The Norfolk Police Department's soccer team is hosting a tournament in Jones' honor on June 28.
The event is from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. at the Powhatan field in Norfolk.  There will be t-shirt sales, raffles, and concessions.

July 12
A poker run is scheduled for July 12.

The event takes begins at 9 a.m. Sunrise Cycles.  There will be a poker run, 50/50 raffle and door prizes. Registration is $10 per bike. 

The event was organized by Norfolk Deputy Daniel Mitchell and his being sponsored by the Police Emerald Society of Tidewater. Click here for more information
