NORFOLK- Some street flooding was reported around the Norfolk and Virginia Beach due to heavy rain that fell Thursday afternoon.
Flooding was reported in the area of Old Dominion University, including confirmed reports of flooding in the area of 49th street and Powhatan Avenue.

Virginia Beach police tweeted warning residents to drive slowly due to standing water on several roads.
