NORFOLK - A Chesterfield man is charged with robbing a man in Norfolk.

Police say 18-year-old Jonathan Chavis and another person approached the victim as he got out of his car on Fairfax Ave. on November 28. They say Chavis pulled a gun, demanded money and the car keys and then hit him.

Both suspects tried to drive off, but the car wouldn't start, so they left, according to investigators. Chavis was arrested later that day; the second suspect hasn't been caught.

Chavis is charged with carjacking, felonious assault, use/display of a firearm in the commission of a felony and conspiracy to commit a felony.

Anyone with information about the second suspect should call Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
