NORFOLK - A bicyclist was badly injured when he was struck by a vehicle in Norfolk Tuesday morning.
It happened around 7:10 a.m. in the 3500 block of E. Virginia Beach Blvd. at Ingleside Road.
Police spokeswoman Karen Parker-Chesson says westbound traffic on E. Virginia Beach Blvd. is shut down between Norfolk Square and Ingleside Road until approximately 10:30 a.m.
On Tuesday afternoon the cyclists injuries were upgraded to stable condition.
She adds that no charges had been filed.
