Walmart hiring center
NEWPORT NEWS - Walmart needs to hire about 400 workers for its new Supercenter and Neighborhood Market stores that are due to open soon in Newport News.
People went to a temporary hiring center at 10524 Jefferson Ave. and were given a piece of paper with a Website to apply on line for full time and part time jobs.
The hiring center is open from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturdays.
