Three teenagers arrested, charged in Newport News home burglary

 NEWPORT NEWS -- Three teenagers have been arrested in connection with a home burglary in Newport News.

 
The incident happened just after 1 p.m. on Jan. 10 near 18th Street and Wickham Avenue.
 
According to several witnesses, three individuals were seen running from the burglarized home into a residence nearby. 
 
A 15 year old and a 16 year old  were located inside that residence and taken into custody.
 
The third suspect, Eric Paul Cummings, Jr., 18, was apprehended a short time later. 
 
All three suspects arrested and charged with burglary and grand larceny. 
 
Police told 13 News Now electronics and jewelry were taken, but not all of the stolen property was recovered.
