Teens learn to save lives at police youth leadership camp

NEWPORT NEWS -- A group of 27 lucky teens have been participating in a police youth leadership camp.

The camp, hosted by the Newport News Police Department, Coast guard, and local Boys and Girls Club taught the teens different life-saving skills.   The program includes firefighter and shipboard damage control training.

Friday was the final day of the second session of the camp. Graduation is at 5:00 p.m.
