NEWPORT NEWS - You can help a 13-year old boy with cancer by eating out tonight.

Three Chick-Fil-A's on the Peninsula will donate part of the proceeds to help Nazea Twiggs.

Over the Thanksgiving holiday, he started having knee pain. He couldn't put weight on his leg and his knee got bigger. He was diagnosed with cancer in the bone.

His mom, Darnella Beale, said the cancer may be spreading to his lungs.

In a few days, the family will go to Richmond for surgery that could save his leg.

"I believe they'll also - because of the damage to the bone - they'll have to cut out some of the bone to his upper thigh as well as below the knee and replace it with a prosthetic knee to prevent his leg from being amputated," Beale stated.

Stephan Twiggs says his son is keeping the family's spirits up.

Nazea is an honor roll student and loves to play sports. He says his family and friends and their prayers are getting him through this experience.

Here's information on how to help.
