NEWPORT NEWS-A Newport News woman was arrested after police say she repeatedly called 9-1-1 for non-emergency incidents.

They say 20-year-old Dominquez Jackson called for help seven times between 10:00 p.m. September 30 and 2:00 a.m. on October 1.

Officer Harold Eley says officers responded to the first call and determined the issue was not an emergency and they advised her to only use 911 for emergencies.

When the seventh call was made, officers arrested her and charged her with making false phone calls.
