NEWPORT NEWS -- A Suffolk man has been charged with aggravated sexual battery after allegedly touching two children inappropriately in Newport News Monday night.
According to police spokeswoman Holly McPherson, 19-year-old Michael Bailey inappropriately touched two boys, 8 and 10 years old, and promised them ice cream if they would let him touch them again.
Police were dispatched to the 300 block of Hilltop Drive around 7 p.m. The suspect was still in the area when officers arrived. After the officers spoke to the children and witnesses, the suspect was taken into custody.
McPherson said police are looking into a third case, but it is not confirmed whether they are connected.
