AUGUSTA, GA.--Police say they arrested a Newport News man Thursday after he allegedly travelled from Virginia to Georgia to meet and have sex with a fourteen-year-old girl.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation arrested John Tysarczyk, Jr. after a four week investigation involving undercover “chatting” with Tysarczyk.
Tysarczyk, 36, is currently being held in the Richmond County Georgia Jail. He has been charged with Criminal Attempt Aggravated Child Molestation.
A news release says that the GBI was assisted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Augusta office, Richmond County Sheriff’s Office, and Columbia County Sheriff’s Office.
