NEWPORT NEWS -- A Newport News man facing indecent liberties charges is wanted for not showing up in court.

Police say they've been looking for 45-year-old Reginald Gene Morst since November 2013.

Spokeswoman Holly McPherson says Morst began sexually assaulting the victim in August 2011 when the girl was 15-years-old and the assaults continued until the girl told her mother on April 29, 2012 and her mother contacted police.

An SVU detective obtained warrants for Reginald Morst for rape, three counts of indecent liberties with a minor, and cruelty and injury to a child. On August 4, 2012, he was arrested.

Morst is 6 feet tall and weighs 270 pounds. His last known address was on Shields Road and he has family in the Denbigh area, police added.

If you can help police find him, call Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
