Police say missing man with Alzheimer's has been located

*Update: Police say Galloway was located around 3 p.m. in the 17500 block of Warwick Blvd.  He is in good health and has returned home.

NEWPORT NEWS-Police are looking for a man with Alzheimer's Disease who disappeared from his home on Monday.

62-year-old Marvin Galloway left his home on Dorene Place and was last seen about 9:30 a.m. around the entrance to Newport News City Park, which is just a little more than a mile away on Jefferson Avenue.

He is 5'6" tall and weighs about 160 pounds. Police say he was wearing a burgundy shirt and blue jeans and may have had glasses on.

The Newport News Sheriff's Office reminds residents it offers the Project Lifesaver program. Officials say customers wear personalized radio transmitters that help track them if they get lost. For more information, contact the Newport News Sheriff’s Office at 926-8747.
