Air Force Heritage of America Band performs during Fourth of July week

WILLIAMSBURG - Let the US Air Force Heritage of America Band get you in the holiday spirit this week.  

The 38-member band is putting on several free performances for Independence Day.

In Hampton Roads, on Tuesday, July 2, the band will be in Williamsburg's Merchant's Square at 6:30 p.m.

On Thursday, listen to the patriotic music at Victory Landing Park, at the end of 23rd St. at the James River, in Newport News. The concert begins at 8:00 p.m. and is part of the city's annual Fourth of July Stars in the Sky celebration ,which begins at 7:00 p.m.

"Our performance will be the final one of the evening, leading directly to the Newport News official fireworks display," said Ssgt. David Fatek.
