HAMPTON ROADS--Put on your dancing shoes and join the Great Zumba Gold-a-thon to benefit two area agencies on aging, the Peninsula Agency on Aging and Senior Services of Southeastern Virginia.

Zumba Gold uses low to moderate internationally inspired dance moves and is intended for attendees to burn calories while having a lot of fun.

Zumba Gold was originally designed for the older active adult, but recently has become a class for people who have never taken a Zumba class before, pregnant moms and for people who want to enjoy the Zumba party atmosphere with a little less intensity.

The event is Saturday, June 29, at 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Hampton’s St. Marks Methodist Church, located at 99 East Mercury Blvd.

The cost to participate is $10 per person in advance, $12 at the door.

To register, go to http:pomnisat.zumba.com.

For more information, call Pomnisa Tillerson at 757-814-1692.
