HAMPTON-- Hampton police are looking for two men who they say robbed a Popeye's fast-food restaurant Monday.

Police say the suspects approached an employee in the parking lot of Popeye's, located in the first block of West Mercury Boulevard, and demanded money.

The suspects, one armed with a handgun and one with a hammer, allegedly forced the employee back into the business, stole an undisclosed amount of money and fled on foot.

No additional employees or patrons were inside and the victim was not injured.

Both suspects are described as black males, in their early twenties, and 5'11" to 6' with medium builds.  They were seen wearing dark hooded sweatshirts, dark pants and dark gloves.

Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
