HAMPTON -- Police have arrested two suspects in a violent robbery of the Lone Star Steakhouse on Power Plant Parkway in Hampton.

Cynthia Presley, 24, of Hampton and 23-year-old Christopher Stewart of Newport News face multiple counts including abduction and kidnapping, robbery, and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

Cameron Bowman's daughter was working at the restaurant Thursday night around 10 p.m. when the crime happened just after closing time.

He says the robbers came into the store and put a gun to his daughter's head.

"It was unreal. I've been there almost six years and this has never happened," she said.

The girl told her dad the robbers first came into the kitchen and held the cook at gunpoint. Next, they went into the store's office and demanded money. After getting cash the robbers took off.
