HAMPTON--One person was flown by nightingale for possible life-threatening injuries sustained in a car crash in Hampton, officials said Wednesday.

According to Hampton spokeswoman Mary Shackleford, a truck making a left turn from Magruder Blvd. onto Butler Farm Road hit a white SUV head-on around 2:15 p.m.

Butler Farm Road is closed for the investigation.  Traffic is moving on Magruder Blvd. towards I-64 but is down to one lane.  The road is closed in the opposite direction, towards Williamsburg.

The company that appears to own the truck, Eure Site Solutions/Eure Equipment Rental, has no safety violations in the past two years and just one accident where a truck had to be towed, according to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration database.
