HAMPTON -- The city of Hampton will officially celebrate paying off its newest fire station.
Fire station eleven is the city's first new station in 24 years.
Located on Big Bethel Road, the city broke ground on the station last year, and it started operating in July.
The new station has cut down response times in the area significantly.
Mayor Molly Ward will be at the ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday.
