HAMPTON--The son of former District of Columbia Mayor Marion Barry was arrested in Hampton on August 16.
According to Hampton Police spokesperson Sgt. Jason Price, Christopher Barry was pulled over for driving erratically in the 2000 block of Coliseum Drive.
Barry was charged with DUI, possession of marijuana and possession of synthetic marijuana.
Barry is no longer in police custody, Price said.
In 2011, Barry was given a six-month suspended sentence and 18 months probation after pleading guilty to drug charges, including possession of marijuana and PCP.
