CHESAPEAKE— Two firefighters were sent to the hospital after battling a storage unit fire.

Saturday night around 4:45 p.m., crews responded to the 1400 block of George Washington Highway in Battery Park.

Authorities say the fire damaged or destroyed 32 storage units.

One firefighter was transported to the hospital as a precaution, so doctors could check over him. He's expected to be alright. Another firefighter had a twisted ankle.

Fire officials have not determined the cause of the blaze.
