CHESAPEAKE -- A Chesapeake teen was ordered to juvenile detention for killing a 12-year-old girl and he must pay $2,421 in restitution.
The boy, who was 13 when Caroline "Cee Cee" Walker was shot to death in January, told the judge that Cee Cee died while they were playing Russian roulette.
He pleaded guilty to one count of manslaughter and could remain in the juvenile system until he's 21. Once he's in the system, officials will determine how long he'll be in custody.
"I was shaking my head, saying still that's not enough time, it will never be enough time. The whole thing is hurtful," said her mother Lisa.
The judge noted that the boy had no previous history of violence or problems.
