CHESAPEAKE -- Two men and a woman are now in custody as police investigate a meth lab in a Chesapeake home.
Police arrived in the Indian River neighborhood around 10:00 a.m. Tuesday and served a search warrant at a home in the 300 block of Velva Drive.
29-year-old Adam Kuykendall was arrested on charges of manufacturing meth and other charges are pending, police said. He was later charged with four additional counts of making meth and one charge of distributing meth.
On Wednesday, 29-year-old Charles Colonna and his sister, 24-year-old Billinda Colonna, were arrested. Charles was charged with manufacturing meth and Billinda was charged with possession of meth and cocaine.
Police say the cases were investigated together because Kuykendall and Colonna were acquaintances.
The fire units were on the scene Tuesday in case of fire or hazardous material emergency, spokesman Captain Scott Saunders told WVEC.com. Saunders said three people had to be decontaminated.
