CHESAPEAKE – A Chesapeake judge threw out illegal dumping charges against TME Enterprises Wednesday.

General District Court Judge Philip Infantino dismissed the case against TME, the company contracted by VDOT to do road maintenance on area highways, including patching the potholes on I-264.

In February, Chesapeake’s fire marshal issued misdemeanor illegal dumping charges after finding what appeared to road debris illegally dumped on property along Military Highway that belonged to VDOT.

TME still faces similar dumping charges with the City of Norfolk.
