CHESAPEAKE -- An inmate accused of escaping from the city jail in June plead guilty to the charges.

Clancy Starling now faces an additional year in prison on top of the 17 years he's serving on a probation violation.

Starling escaped on June 11th, and was captured 10 days later near Richmond.

His escape led to the firing of two sheriff's deputies who the sheriff said should have been watching him.
