Chesapeake drive-by shooting
CHESAPEAKE -- A Chesapeake man who was shot in the leg early Monday morning says he was the victim of a drive-by shooting.
Police say the victim told them he was sitting on his porch in the 200 block of Hurdle Drive in Great Bridge when a dark-colored SUV drove by and someone in the vehicle fired one round.
The victim drove himself to the hospital, and police were called about 2:30 a.m.
The man told police he did not know who shot him.
