CHESAPEAKE - Two men forced their way into a Chesapeake house Sunday night where a man, a woman and her 12-year-old boy were staying.

Police were called to Commerce Avenue around 8:00 p.m. When one of the adults answered the door, the men stormed in.

Spokeswoman Office Kelly O'Sullivan says one suspect hit the man with his gun while the other went upstairs. Shortly afterwards they ran out of the house.

It doesn’t appear anything was taken, she told WVEC.com

The man who was hit was treated by medics and didn't need to go to the hospital.

Police say one suspect is about 25-30 years old, 5’5” tall and weighs about 120 pounds. He was wearing a white T-shirt and had braided hair. The second man is described as being 20-30 years old, around 5’10” and weighs 180 pounds. He could be carrying a dark-colored pistol .
