Sonic attempted robbery
CHESAPEAKE - Two men tried to rob a waitress at a Chesapeake restaurant.
Officer Kelly O'Sullivan told WVEC.com a man placed an order outside at Sonic on Providence Road around 10:30 p.m. Monday. When waitress came out, the second man, carrying a gun, came out from the bushes and demanded her money. When she said she didn't have any cash, both men ran off.
The suspects are described as black in the 20s and wearing dark clothing. The gunman is about 5'7" tall and had his face covered, O'Sullivan stated. The second man is thin and about 6'4" tall.
