9/5 UPDATE: Police say one of the victims, 29-year-old Patrick Crisp, of the 2200 block of Decatur St. in Chesapeake, died Thursday, September 4.
Detectives still investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting. There is no indication at this time that the two victims were known to each other, said Officer Kelly O'Sullivan. 
The second victim is recovering from his injuries.

CHESAPEAKE -- Two men were wounded in a shooting in Chesapeake Monday night. 

Police were called to the 1200 block Transylvania Ave. in South Norfolk around 7:30 p.m.

A neighbor told 13News Now one of the victims banged on his door asking for help.

"I was shocked because it happened so close to home," the neighbor said.  "The dude was bleeding bad.  I tried to help as much as I could."

The victims were taken to Chesapeake General Hospital.  One was listed critical condition.  The other victim was being released. 

Spokesman Leo Kosinski said there was no immediate word on the circumstances of the shooting or suspects.
