CHESAPEAKE-- Police made an arrest not long after being called to a shooting in the Portlock section of Chesapeake Monday night.

They say 27-year-old Keith Fuller of the 600 block of Pine Valley Run was charged with malicious wounding.

The shooting happened around 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of Portlock Road and Bainbridge Blvd. and they arrested Fuller at Holly and Bainbridge Boulevard soon after.

Police say the victim, also a 27-year-old, and the suspect know each other.

Police say Fuller is a possible person of interest in other investigations.
