CHESAPEAKE--A police pursuit resulted in a crash on Route 58 Wednesday evening.
The incident started around 4:15 pm when an officer attempted to stop a vehicle heading westbound on Portsmouth Boulevard. The vehicle refused to stop and continued heading towards I-664.
The pursuit continued from I-664 onto Route 58 where the suspects tried to make a U-turn in the area of Snowden St. The vehicle then crashed.
All 3 suspects, two men and a woman, were taken into custody and no injuries were reported. Charges are pending.
