Chesapeake crews helping a boater at Great Bridge Locks Park

CHESAPEAKE-A man was brought to shore from his sinking boat near the Great Bridge Locks Bridge.
The man on the 18' Stingray had a life vest on, fire officials said.
Chesapeake Fire and Police boats responded to the waterway between Dominion Blvd. & Battlefied Blvd., about a half mile from the Locks bridge, around 10:00 a.m.
The boat was in about three feet of water and wasn't blocking water traffic.
