NORFOLK -- A Norfolk company is doing its part to encourage workers to seek alternative means of transportation.

The graphic design firm called Grow Interactive has purchased bikes for employees to ride to lunch or just take a stroll to de-stress.

It also offers passes to ride the Tide and will even give cash to workers that don't need parking spaces.  They even have a full kitchen with regular dishes to help cut down on trash.

"We're trying to be a healthier, greener company and it means getting everybody involved in the company to do things to take little steps," said Matt Clank, senior art director at Grow Interactive.

Grow Interactive is located in the 400 of Granby Street

They have 20 workers and so, far a third of them are taking advantage of the cash instead of the parking plan.
