TRAFFIC ADVISORY:

The left lane of the westbound side of the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel is currently closed, as crews work to drain the tunnel's water main system.

The Virginia Department of Transportation told 13News that they plan to reopen both lanes of traffic Friday morning around 9 a.m. Drivers headed in that direction should take the Monitor Merrimac Bridge Tunnel as an alternate route.
