HAMPTON -- Hampton Police Division believes the same person is responsible for a robbery, abduction, and an attempted abduction in the Northampton section of the city. The 3 incidents took place within a span of about 7 hours.

"He cocked the gun back. He was, like, 'You wanna die this morning! You wanna die! You wanna die now, don't you?'" recalled Yvette Arrington.

Arrington was getting ready to leave her relatives' home on Goldsboro Drive and head back to Philadelphia at about 5:25 a.m. Thursday. As she stood at the driver's side of her SUV, somebody with a gun came up behind her and shoved her into the SUV.

"I wasn't going with him. I really wasn't going with him, you know. He can have the car, but I'm not going with you," Arrington said. "I kind of, like, kicked him, you know, and he kind of moved back, and he grabbed the door again, and, then I leaned on the horn."

Arrington said she also yelled, calling attention to what was happening. Her attacker ran towards West Mercury Boulevard.

About an hour later, at 6:28 a.m., officers said the same person showed up at Hardee's on Big Bethel Road near Todds Lane. Inside the restaurant, he supposedly pulled a gun on a 17-year-old and demanded money. At that point, he took the victim’s wallet and took off.

Detectives released surveillance footage from 7-11 at South Armistead Avenue and Settlers Landing Road. They said it shows the person using stolen credit cards taken during a robbery Wednesday night.

At 11:25 p.m., police explained the robber approached a 21-year-old Hampton in the 200 block of Marcella Road. He showed the victim a gun and forced the victim into his own car, making him drive to the Wells Fargo on Coliseum Drive.

The robber demanded the victim withdraw money from the ATM machine. After being unable to retrieve any money, he forced the victim to drive back to Marcella Road. He took the victim’s cell phone, credit cards, and car keys.

Detectives said the person responsible is a white male, 5’07” to 5’08”, 160 lbs., between 25 and 35 years of age. He has brown hair and was unshaven. He was last seen wearing a white tee shirt, black jacket, blue jeans, white tennis shoes and a black baseball cap with a white “P” on it.

"I truly do want him arrested so he will not hurt nobody else," said Arrington.
