COROLLA, NC -- Authorities identified the man whose body was found off near Corolla Beach Llighthouse.
Tri Tan of Springfield was found about four-and-a-half hours after falling off his bodyboard.
The Coast Guard, Corolla Ocean Rescue and Currituck County rescue crews were part of the search.
"I noticed when the helicopter came flying over," says Tracy Norris of Jarvisburg. "I had seen it fly really low, so I knew kind of something was up."
By all accounts, water conditions in Corolla were fairly calm Wednesday.
