NORFOLK -- Norfolk is making plans to revitalize the St. Paul's Quadrant on the edge of downtown.

The St. Paul’s study area is about 115 acres located directly east of Downtown Norfolk.

Officials say the emphasis is on creating an urban neighborhood with a strong sense of place and improved connections to the rest of the city.

"The Vision for St. Paul’s calls for the development of a mixed income, mixed use community, including the replacement of 618‐public housing units, all in a walkable community, together with expanded retail, parks and cultural destinations, that can help create strong connections to Downtown and to Norfolk as a whole," the plans state.

A meeting for you to hear more about the plans and give your inputon the draft proposal will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at Ruffner Middle School at 610 May Avenue.
