NEWPORT NEWS -- A Newport News man is charged with sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl.
Police say Alexander Reyes, 48, had sex with the girl on several occasions beginning in October 2011. spokeswoman Holly McPherson told WVEC.com.
Authorities are not saying where the girl lives or who the two know each other to protect her identity.
Reyes is charged with indecent liberties with a child under age 15, carnal knowledge of a child and adultery/fornication with someone forbidden by law to marry.
