NORFOLK -- More than 50 gallons of diesel fuel was spilled during a crash on I-64 Tuesday afternoon, forcing police to shut down two lanes.
It happened near the twin bridges exit.
Two tractor trailers were involved. Police have not reported any injuries.
One truck went off the interstate and into a ditch. The other jack-knifed on the road.
There's no word on what caused the accident.
Virginia State Police spokesperson Sgt. Michelle Anaya said hazmat crews would be working for up to two hours to clean up the fuel.
Later in the evening, another accident happened in the westbound lanes.
