ACLU CALLS ON GAY COUPLE ON “MODERN FAMILY” TO WED
NEW YORK (AP) -- If the American Civil Liberties Union was writing the script for “Modern Family, Mitchell and Cameron would be hitched by now. The ACLU is calling for the gay couple on the ABC show to get married—and have launched a campaign to get the show’s producers to crank out a wedding episode for the two. The ACLU says it wants to use the fictional family to draw more attention to the issue of gay marriage that is currently before the Supreme Court in the form of two marriage equality cases.
