WASHINGTON (AP) -- Donating the dress and shoes she changed into after winning her first and only Daytime Emmy on the 19th try brought back memories for Susan Lucci. She says when Shemar Moore shouted “the streak is over!” she thought he was referring to one of the basketball or hockey playoff games being played that night. She didn’t believe she won until she whispered in her husband’s ear “are you sure?” He said he was sure she’d won and sent her up to the stage. That Emmy is now proudly displayed on her mantel.
