HAMPTON ROADS --  Numerous Hampton Roads' neighborhoods are holding Independence Day parades.

At 10:30, the Suburban Acres Civic League kicked off their parade at Galveston Boulevard and Carl Street in Norfolk.  The neighborhood has also organized a food drive after the parade.

The East Beach community in Norfolk is saluting the military in its 7th annual Independence Day parade.  It started at 10 a.m. at East Beach Drive.

Cape Story says it's hosting its 49th annual event from 10-12.  Cape Story residents apparently love Halloween so much that this year's theme is "Red, White, and Scary."  The parade is followed by a brunch.
