NORFOLK -- 13News Daybreak got students together from several schools at the Ted Constant Convocation Center to highlight how they are trying to make area schools better places. The students are using a national program called Rachel's Challenge to take a stand against things like bullying, violence, and intimidation.
The students were from Tabb, Kecoughtan and First Colonial high schools, along with youngsters from Crossroads Elementary.
Meantime, we heard from Nicole Porter, who teaches jindergarten at Little Creek Elementary in Norfolk.
She sent in a photo of their chain and this statement: "We accepted Rachel's Challenge and to date, our chain is 82 links strong!! My kids are super excited and very proud of themselves!!"
