NORFOLK --Get into the Groove with your favorite 80s pop at the Zoo's Event Field at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, June 30.
Monarch Bank and the Virginia Zoo, in partnership with Portsmouth Museums, the Virginia Aquarium and Troutman Sanders, launch the Zoo Grooves summer concert series with the Deloreans, an all 80s band featuring music from artists like Madonna, Prince, Pat Benatar, Duran Duran, Bon Jovi and more!
"Concerts at the Zoo are perfect for families," said Greg Bockheim, the Zoo's executive director. "It's a fun and kid-friendly environment, so you can all enjoy the music together, as well as some of your favorite summer foods and beverages."
Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and performances begin at 6:00 p.m. General Zoo admission applies for non-members - Adults: $11, Children: $9 and Seniors: $10 - but Zoo members get in FREE! Members of the Virginia Aquarium and Portsmouth Museums get half off admission. The Asia - Trail of the Tiger exhibit will be open and refreshments will be available for purchase until 8:00 p.m.

Zoo Grooves concert events will take place as scheduled, rain or shine. No other discounts, coupons or passes will be accepted for this event.
