VIRGINIA BEACH - Runners from across the country and from 15 countries will descend on the Va. Beach Oceanfront Sunday morning for the 2013 Rock ‘n’ Roll Virginia Beach Half Marathon.
Live bands, 15,000 runners for the 13th Annual Rock ‘n’ Roll Virginia Beach Half Marathon on Sunday.
The 13.1-miles course starts next to the Convention Center, runs through the resort area and Camp Pendleton, and finishes on the Boardwalk.
The marathon is more than just a marathon.

6:50 am – Wheelchair Start
7:o0 am – Half Marathon Start
8:00 am – Finish Line Festival
7:00 pm – Post Race Concert
The half-marathon begins on 19th St in front of the Convention Center. The race finishes on the boardwalk at 17th Street. The event concludes Sunday night with an evening concert on the 5th Street Beach Stage by Third Eye Blind
More than $12 million has been raised through the event for a variety of charities and local non-profit organizations throughout the history of the race.
