HAMPTON -- Every year, Transitions Family Violence Services staff and volunteers host a Yard Sale and Community fair to raise funds and awareness about domestic violence.
This year's event is September 8 at 137 Kings Way in Hampton from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
You can help end domestic violence for many clients by cleaning out your closet and donating to the yard sale and/or bargain shopping during the event.
Until then, you can help raise money for the group by taking part in the 2nd Annual 5k Run/Walk on Saturday, August 25. It's at Matteson Trail at 320 Butler Farm Road in Hampton beginning at 8:30 a.m.
