HAMPTON -- Thomas Nelson Community College Workforce Development is hosting the STEM Opportunity Job Fair on Thursday.
Thomas Nelson is connecting Hampton Roads employers in the science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) industries directly with Thomas Nelson students and members of the community.
"The goal of this STEM Opportunity Fair is to expose our students to employers in the area and to allow employers to see that we have very talented students in STEM at Thomas Nelson,” said Riham Mahfouz, assistant professor and chair of the Department of Chemistry.
Representatives from more than a dozen of the region’s top manufacturing, finance and other STEM industries will be present.
Career fair attendees are encouraged to dress professionally and bring copies of their resumes as some employers will conduct on-site interviews.
The job fair is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Moore Hall Espada Room on the Hampton Campus.
