Suffolk teen summit focuses on money management, parenting

SUFFOLK - Suffolk is holding its 2013 Teen Summit Conference on  Saturday, August 24, 2013, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This dynamic, interactive conference will provide youth ages 11 to17 years old, parents, and youth service providers with educational sessions developed to encourage positive change in our communities.

The Teen Summit Conference will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn Riverfront, 100 East Constance Road.

Registration is free and forms are available at the Suffolk Parks & Recreation Administrative Office, 134 South 6th Street or you can register online.  

Sessions include money management, gang violence, parenting classes (for ages 18 and up), a community panel, and much more.
