NORFOLK -- September is Hunger Action Month.
You can help end hunger in Hampton Roads by getting involved-whether it's volunteering at a Foodbank or collecting non-perishable food.
There are several ways to show your support in September:
September 6th: Go Orange Day! - Wear orange or go orange digitally!
September 14th - Check out the United Way Day of Caring website for more information
September 18th: Local Officals Volunteer Day
September 20th: Tune in to Wipeout on ABC Channel 13 a 8PM and help us "Wipeout Hunger!"
September 27th: Attend the Kiwanis Club's Shag at the Foodbank.
September 29th: Take part in Virginia's Day of Service

During the Sept. 20 WVEC Wipeout Hunger event, call 596-7188 to make a donation, go to the Foodbank website or tune in from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. to find out how you can help wipe out hunger in our community.
