NEWPORT NEWS -- The Woman’s Club of Newport News is opening its 37th annual “Santa House” on Friday.
The group will be decorating the entire house, and guests can see a talking Christmas tree in the foyer, take a tour of Santa’s bedroom, visit the gingerbread house, and listen to a story read by Mrs. Claus in her kitchen. While meeting Santa Claus is always the main attraction, the event also features a craft and Santa’s Puppet Theater.
Santa House is located in The Woman’s Club of Newport News at 461 J. Clyde Morris Boulevard.
The admission is $3 per person.
Santa House will be open on the following dates and times:
Friday, December 13 from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Saturday, December 7 & 14 from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Sunday, December 8 & 15 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Proceeds from Santa House help the Woman's Club of Newport News support many community programs, including the Daily Press Christmas Fund, the Soup Kitchen, our Veterans project, the Peninsula Food Bank, the Boys and Girls Club of the Peninsula, the Peninsula Camp Fund, Sedgefield Girls of Excellence.
